Allstaff Engineering Division are delighted to bring to the market the role of Engineering Estimator in North Ayrshire.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for quoting jobs from customers' drawings, using nesting software to calculate materials required and run times, collating all costs and submitting formal quotes. Upon order, the job will then need to be managed through the production process.

Responsibilities:

  • Review customer's drawings and modify/edit (with AutoCAD) for input to the quoting software (SigmaNest).
  • Review all costs involved.
  • Submit formal quotes.
  • Deal with each customer throughout the order and production process.

Experience:

  • CAD experience essential.
  • Experience within Engineering essential.
  • Profile cutting experience beneficial.
  • Good PC skills, Microsoft etc.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Good working as part of a team.
  • Experience with AutoCAD is essential.
  • Experience within the Engineering sector is essential.
  • Experience profile cutting would be beneficial.
  • Experience with SigmaNest would be beneficial.

Working hours:

Monday to Thursday: 8am - 5pm
Friday: 8am - 2.30pm
