Production Operative

Allstaff Manufacturing Division are delighted to bring to the market the role of Production Operative for our client in Blantyre. Hours of work are Monday to Friday 08:00–16:30. In this role, you will be responsible for the fabrication and assembly of specialist aluminium systems (full training will be provided).

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Cut and assemble aluminium profiles and headers.
• Carry out prep machining on profiles to acceptable standards.
• Inspect and control the quality of products to ensure compliance with drawings and specification requirements.
• Highlight any issues in quality or on-time fabrication of products, and work to promptly resolve problems.
• Complete assembly of orders to ensure on-time delivery.
• Eliminate waste and avoid unproductive activity.
• Ensure material issued to the shop floor is protected and used correctly.
• Maintain high standards of personal performance, behaviour, attendance, timekeeping, and comply with processes and procedures.
• Follow all Health & Safety processes, procedures and principles.
• Keep your work area clean, tidy, organised and controlled.
• Always follow relevant legal, health and safety, environmental, and duty of care requirements.
• Be open to carrying out additional tasks as required by management.
