We have an exciting opportunity for a Parts Technical Specialist based in Bedfordshire for one of our clients on a Full time permanent basis.

Summary of the Parts Technical Specialist role

  • Salary: £28,000 - £30,000
  • Location: Bedfordshire
  • Type of Contract: Permanent
  • Hours: Monday – Friday 8am-5pm

Responsibilities of the Parts Technical Specialist

  • Identify and source spare parts for a wide range
  • First point of contact for parts telephone and email customer enquiries
  • Interpreting technical drawings
  • Preparing and issuing parts quotations
  • Liaising with suppliers
  • Maintaining accurate records
  • Provide technical guidance to customers
  • Assist with maintaining the web shop

Requirements for a successful Parts Technical Specialist

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing parts, technical sales or technical support role
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to read technical drawings
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Competent with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
