Allstaff Professional Services Division are delighted to bring to the market the role of Learning & Development Coordinator for a well established manufacturing company based near Johnstone. Please note that due to the location it is essential to have your own transport.

The Learning & Development Coordinator will be key to driving an efficient and customer-centric service to the business, demonstrating enthusiasm for delivering improved ways of working and operational excellence.

Key accountabilities:
  • Support the Learning & Development Manager to deliver the learning and development strategy.
  • Maintaining and improving training and learning management systems including automation of tasks where appropriate.
  • Liaising with the external agency partner and internal managers to support the placement and induction of new starters.
  • Delivery of company induction and onboarding sessions.
  • Oversee and ensure effective completion of on‑job training verification.
  • Apprenticeship and SVQ programme coordination.
  • Working with team managers to identify and address training needs.
  • Assisting with training projects.
  • Assisting with content and e‑Learning creation.
  • Documenting and reporting on all company training activities.
  • Coordination of company forklift training.
  • Promoting the company values and ways of working.
Key Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
  • Demonstrable experience of managing an LMS system.
  • Experience of training design or delivery is desirable.
  • Excellent IT literacy with experience of working with Excel.
  • Strong organisational skills.

Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday 8.30 am – 4.30 pm, Friday 8.30 am – 2 pm (37 hours in total)
