An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Factory Labourer to join our client\’s workshop in Bedford.
Summary of the Factory Labourer role
- Salary: Dependent on Experience
- Location: Bedford
- Type of Contract: Permanent
- Hours: Monday – Thursday 8:00am – 4:30pm, Friday 8:00am – 3:30pm
Responsibilities of the Factory Labourer
- Carefully wrap and prepare finished joinery and carpentry products for delivery, ensuring items are fully protected.
- Carry out general factory cleaning duties, including sweeping, hoovering, and keeping work areas tidy.
- Assist with light gardening and upkeep of the external areas and fire routes.
- Wash delivery vehicles to maintain company presentation standards.
- Provide hands‑on support to the production team with light labouring tasks as required.
