We are pleased to be working with our client seeking a Purchasing & Office Administrator based in Castleford for one of our clients on a permanent basis.

Summary of the Purchasing & Office Administrator

  • Salary: £27,500
  • Location: Castleford
  • Type of Contract: Permanent, 100% office based
  • Hours: 37.5 - hour working week, Monday - Thursday 08.00 - 16.30, Friday 08.00 - 13.30

Responsibilities of the Purchasing & Office Administrator

  • Cover all aspects of purchasing / pricing / quality issues
  • Order stock & services from suppliers
  • Liaising with customers & suppliers
  • Dealing with customer queries
  • Responding to emails
  • Answer the telephone in a professional manner
  • Acquire POD’s
  • Welcoming visitors
  • General office duties

Requirements for a successful Purchasing & Office Administrator

  • Previous administration and customer service experience ideally within a procurement department
  • Professional with strong communication skills
