We have an exciting opportunity for a Electrical Mechanical Field Service Fitter based in Castleford for one of our clients on a Full time permanent basis. Summary of the Electrical Mechanical Field Service Fitter role Salary: £40,000 Location: Castleford Type of Contract: Permanent Hours: 37.5 hours Monday – Thursday 8.15am-4.45pm, Friday 8.15am-1.45pm Responsibilities of the Electrical Mechanical Field Service Fitter * De-contamination of pump units * Dismantling, inspection and reporting of pump unit condition * Assemble and test pumps * Identify spare parts required from drawings * Mechanical measurement of components and critical dimensions * Diesel pump set repair and maintenance Requirements for a successful Electrical Mechanical Field Service Fitter * Experience in working with Diesel Pump Sets * CSCS card – Desirable * Confined Space training – Desirable * Overhead crane, lifting and slinging operator license – Desirable * Water Hygiene qualified – Desirable * Full driving license * Mechanical or Electrical apprenticeship or similar or time served * Experience in Electric Motor & Control Equipment * Strong fault-finding skills, ideally with pumps and rotating equipment * Ability to read and understand engineering drawings About Allstaff Recruitment We’re an independent recruitment specialist based in Bedfordshire, supporting businesses across Bedford, Milton Keynes, and surrounding areas.
