Allstaff Finance & Accountancy Division are delighted to bring to the market the role of Finance/Data Analyst.
Hours of work: Monday β Thursday 9am β 5.30pm and Friday 9am β 4pm This role will be supporting Group Financial Controller with an ongoing manufacturing project and will help collate data and present it as meaningful information that can be used to agree targets and measures with stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Pulling together historical data and ensure data accuracy in the ERP system.
- The role will be looking at labour utilisation and efficiency, Machine downtime and efficiency
- Inventory analysis β stock turns, obsolete stock, stock wastage
- Looking at key areas of expense such as utilities, outside storage
- Assist in business cases for investment where applicable β for example capital investment to improve automation.
Experience Required
- 2β3 yearsβ relevant experience within finance, data analysis or a similar analytical role.
- Experience of analysing and interpreting financial and operational data.
- Manufacturing experience would be beneficial, particularly exposure to product costing, inventory, labour utilisation and production efficiencies.
- Experience working with ERP systems and maintaining accurate data.
- Strong Excel and data analysis skills, with the ability to turn complex data into clear, meaningful information for stakeholders.
- Previous accounts experience would be beneficial.
- A relevant degree or professional qualification would be beneficial; however, candidates with suitable practical experience will also be considered.
