Allstaff Finance & Accountancy Division are delighted to bring to the market the role of Purchase Ledger Clerk for a company based in Kilsyth, North Lanarkshire. Are you looking for a part‑time opportunity with the possibility of becoming permanent? Then we would love to speak to you. The suitable individual will join a busy finance team on a temporary to permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast‑paced environment, has experience processing high volumes of invoices, and can quickly become a valued member of the team.
Hours of work will be based on 24 per week, Monday to Wednesday or Tuesday to Thursday 8am‑4:30pm (10‑minute morning break and 20‑minute lunch break).
Responsibilities
- Processing high volumes of purchase ledger invoices accurately and efficiently
- Matching and coding invoices
- Resolving supplier queries in a professional and timely manner
- Reconciling supplier statements
- Assisting with payment runs
- Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
- Supporting the wider finance team with adhoc finance and administration duties
Experience and Qualifications
- Previous purchase ledger experience is essential.
- Proven experience processing high volumes of invoices.
- Experience with other finance systems also considered.
- Ability to hit the ground running with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Good communication skills and a proactive approach to work.
Pay: £13.89 to £14.96 per hour, depending on experience.
