Allstaff Warehouse Division are delighted to bring to the market the role of Warehouse Administrator based in Hillington, Glasgow for a well established manufacturing company. This is a permanent role and hours of work will be based on 40 per week, Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm, with an hour break, onsite daily and the salary is paying £30,000 per annum.
Candidates should have at least 24 months similar working experience and will look after a combination of long established customers along with controlling the warehouse high value area. This role will be a mixture of Office and Warehouse work – about a 70/30 split.
Job Responsibilities- Receipt and checking of incoming goods
- Careful identification of individual high value bottles prior to landing into customer accounts on the warehousing system
- Re-packaging of stock as and when necessary
- Landing of stock into both trade and private customer accounts
- Condition reporting photography and uploading photographs to customer accounts
- Order picking and packing
- Export documentation
- Liaison with both trade and private customers as well as face to face meetings as and when required
- Enthusiasm and a genuine desire to successfully provide a first class customer experience
- Great attention to detail
- A willingness to roll up your sleeves and undertake tasks which will change on a daily basis
- The ability to work with a small and well established team
- Previous warehouse and use of a warehouse management system experience is preferred
- IT literate with good Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience dealing with export documentation preferred
- Minimum 24 months warehouse experience preferred
- 25 days annual holiday entitlement, rising to 30 days, plus four Bank Holidays
