Allstaff Manufacturing Division are delighted to bring to the market the role of Trainee Projects Coordinator based in Glasgow.
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm or 9:00am–5:00pm.
This is a pivotal role working with the Project Coordinator, ensuring coordination of technical information between internal departments and customer teams to maintain the flow of information, control project deadlines, manage customer expectations and oversee contract changes and variations. This is an exciting opportunity to work with large housebuilders on ongoing medium to high‑rise housing projects, supporting business growth and contributing to ad‑hoc improvement projects as required.
Core Duties of the Role
- Review client contract documents to ensure understanding of the project requirements.
- Review and plan project milestones working with internal teams.
- Ensure all relevant documents are available to the technical teams and the client through online portal systems.
- Plan and conduct handover and kick‑off meetings with technical teams, both internal and external, to ensure project requirements are understood.
- Plan and agree delivery schedules with customers.
- Ensure clear and consistent communication with the customer.
Qualifications & Training Required
- A–C Grades in Maths/English Scottish Highers/English A‑Levels.
- HND or Degree level education with Project Management course content.
- Preferred: Qualification in Building Design.
- Working knowledge of current Scottish/UK Building Regulations.
Experience Required
- 2+ years’ experience in the sub‑contract building industry (or similar role).
- Preferred: Working understanding of plan, elevation and detail drawings.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD.

- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong IT literacy with MS Excel and project management tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships.
