We have an exciting new opportunity for a Trainee Thrust Boring Site Operative based in Olney, working for one of our clients on a full-time permanent basis.
Summary of the Trainee Thrust Boring Site Operative role
Salary: £32,500Location: Olney Type of Contract: Permanent Hours: 50 hour working week, some weekends and nights away
Responsibilities of theTrainee Thrust Boring Site Operative
- Travel across the UK, including extensive overnight stays.
- Learn from lead drillers on how to operate and maintain thrust boring equipment.
- Install pipes and conduits underground using thrust boring equipment.
- Learn and practice health and safety on site.
Requirements for a successful Trainee Thrust Boring Site Operative
- Must have a full driving licence and access to own vehicle.
- Technical aptitude and willingness to learn.
- Able to manage a physically demanding role.
- Willing to stay away from home during the week whilst on projects.
- Experience working within the Construction sector.
