Responsibilities of theTrainee Thrust Boring Site Operative

  • Travel across the UK, including extensive overnight stays.
  • Learn from lead drillers on how to operate and maintain thrust boring equipment.
  • Install pipes and conduits underground using thrust boring equipment.
  • Learn and practice health and safety on site.

Requirements for a successful Trainee Thrust Boring Site Operative

  • Must have a full driving licence and access to own vehicle.
  • Technical aptitude and willingness to learn.
  • Able to manage a physically demanding role.
  • Willing to stay away from home during the week whilst on projects.
  • Experience working within the Construction sector.
  • Willing to obtain CSCS/CPCS card.
