We have an exciting opportunity for a Stores Person based in Bedford for one of our clients on a Full time temporary basis. Summary of the Stores Person role Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 Location: Bedford Type of Contract: Temporary 6 months Hours: Monday – Friday full time Responsibilities of the Stores Person Manage day-to-day running of the stores Receive, check and book in deliveries Pick, issue and record parts and materials Carry out regular stock checks, investigate discrepancies and maintain accurate records Monitor and replenish stock Assist with planning and coordinating materials for larger installation projects Ensure hazardous materials are stored and handled safely in line with COSHH and DSEAR requirements Maintain compliance records and produce stock and usage reports Requirements for a successful Stores Person Previous experience in stores, warehousing or stock control Good working knowledge of COSHH and DSEAR regulations Strong organisation skills with excellent attention to detail Confident managing stock records and balancing multiple priorities Practical and proactive and able to work well as a team About Allstaff Recruitment We're an independent recruitment specialist based in Bedfordshire, supporting businesses across Bedford, Milton Keynes, and surrounding areas.
