We have an exciting opportunity for a Field Service Engineer based in Biggleswade for one of our clients on a full-time permanent basis.

Summary of the Field Service Engineer role

  • Salary: £17.52-£20.04 per hour

Responsibilities of the Field Service Engineer

  • Carry out servicing, inspection and repair of earthmoving machinery and equipment
  • Diagnose specific faults and action
  • Return all warranty and other return parts cleaned and on time
  • Accurately file all service manuals and keep updated
  • Undertake all work strictly in compliance with manufacturer guidelines and recommendations
  • Effectively work with the support team
  • Develop excellent rapport and relationships with all customers

Requirements for a successful Field Service Engineer

  • Satisfactory completion of a recognised apprenticeship in a related industry to NVQ level 3 or equivalent
  • Full clean driving license
  • Previous experience in a similar role or industry
  • Good communication skills
  • IT literate
  • Ability to travel UK & Ireland as required
  • Ability to travel overseas as required
