We have an exciting opportunity for a Production Operator based in South Bedfordshire for one of our clients on a Full time permanent basis.

Summary of the Production Operator role

  • Salary: £29,000 including shift allowance
  • Location: South Bedfordshire
  • Type of Contract: Permanent
  • Hours: Rotating shift 6am-2pm, 4pm-10pm, 10pm-6am

Responsibilities of the Production Operator

  • Run machines and produce weather seals
  • Replacement of raw materials
  • Quality control checks
  • Promptly report any quality issues to the supervisor
  • Maintain awareness of scheduling requirements and work efficiently to meet targets
  • Uphold high standards of housekeeping
  • Adhere to all Health, Safety and Environmental procedures
  • Report any unsafe acts or Health, Safety and Environmental incidents
  • Will involve lifting up to 20Kg

Requirements for a successful Production Operator

  • Experience working with hand, air and power tools
  • Previous experience in Manufacturing Production
  • Excellent time management
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Good communication skills
