We have an exciting opportunity for a Production Engineer based in Milton Keynes for one of our clients on a full-time permanent basis.

Summary of the Production Engineer role

  • Salary: Competitive
  • Location: Milton Keynes
  • Type of Contract: Permanent
  • Hours: Monday - Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm

Responsibilities of the Production Engineer

  • Manage the process design and implementation of new development projects
  • Develop production process and process controls for a variety of projects across several production sites
  • Provide technical support
  • General project management
  • Creating process and product costings
  • Co-ordinate, organise and complete new product transfers and completing within the specified deadlines
  • Complete supplier visits, audits and evaluations of various companies across various countries
  • Organise and manage delivery of training plans

Requirements for a successful Production Engineer

  • Technical competency
  • Excellent time management
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
  • HNC in an Engineering discipline or engineering/product experience
  • Experience in Mechanical Engineering
  • IT literate including Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Experience of creating and monitoring processes and procedures
  • Experience working in Manufacturing/production engineering environment
  • Willing to travel overseas when required
