We have an exciting opportunity for an Electronic Bench Engineer - Components based in Northampton to join one of our clients on a full-time permanent basis.

  • Salary: Up to £40,000

  • Hours: 37.5 hour working week

Responsibilities of the Electronic Bench Engineer - Components

  • Quickly fix defects and malfunctions.
  • Fault finding issues with electronic equipment.
  • Analyse, measure, repair and test industrial electronics.
  • Diagnose and repair electronic equipment at the component level (ideally resistors - diodes on PCB boards) as well as motors and servos.
  • Testing and optimising repaired equipment.
  • Soldering.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation of work.

Requirements for a successful Electronic Bench Engineer - Components

  • Previous Electronic Repair experience at the component level.
  • Strong working knowledge of electronic components and drives/motors.
  • Able to recognise malfunctions and errors in measuring and testing equipment.
  • Driving licence required.
  • Lift experience would be beneficial.
