Job Description We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Head of People based near Milton Keynes to join one of our clients on a permanent full-time basis. This is a 100% office-based role and due to the location own transport is required. Summary of the Head of People role Type of Contract: Permanent Hours: 35 hours Monday – Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm Responsibilities of the Head of People Lead and support a small HR team. Update and advise senior management and department heads on employment legislation, restructuring and training. Develop HR policies and procedures, keeping up to date with legislative changes. Manage employee benefits and the pension scheme. Develop training budgets and support managers with PDP's. Manage the recruitment process including, writing job specifications, liaising with agencies & third parties, writing employment contracts and discipline and grievances. Responsible for managing and upholding GDPR policies and procedures including the destruction of confidential waste. Requirements for a successful Head of People Substantial HR Management experience at a senior level and within the commercial sector and working at board level. Excellent leadership skills with experience managing a small HR team. A DBS check will be required for this role. Full driving licence due to location.
