Full time Permanent
basis.
Summary of the General/ Manual Machinist role
Salary:
£14 - £16 per hour Location:
Bedfordshire Type of Contract:
Permanent Hours:
Monday to Thursday 7:30 to 4:30 and Friday 7:30 to 12:30 (overtime available)
Responsibilities of the General/ Manual Machinist - Capable of using manual lathes/ mills - Must be able to use measuring equipment and hand tools - Physically fit and reliable - Maybe asked to do other duties if required
Requirements for a successful General/ Manual Machinist - Experience working with metals (ideally bronze and stainless) - Be able to read CAD or CAM drawings would be an advantage but no essential - Work at high accurate tolerance - Some CNC experience would be an advantage but not essential
