We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Head of People based on the outskirts of Milton Keynes to join one of our clients on a permanent full-time basis. This is a 100% office-based role and due to the location own transport is required. Responsibilities of the Head of People Lead and support a small HR team. Work directly with key leaders and heads of business. Attend quarterly board meetings. Update and advise senior management and department heads on employment legislation, restructuring and training. Develop HR policies and procedures, keeping up to date with legislative changes. Manage employee benefits and the pension scheme. Develop training budgets and support managers with PDP’s. Manage the recruitment process including, writing job specifications, liaising with agencies & third parties, writing employment contracts and discipline and grievances. Responsible for managing and upholding GDPR policies and procedures including the destruction of confidential waste. Requirements for a successful Head of People CIPD Level 7 qualified.
