We have an exciting opportunity for a Field Service Engineer based in Bedford for one of our clients on a full-time permanent basis.

Summary of the Field Service Engineer role

  • Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 DOE
  • Location: Bedford
  • Type of Contract: Permanent
  • Hours: 40 Hours

Responsibilities

  • Repair, refurbishment, installations & commissioning of machinery
  • Travel across the UK and Ireland
  • You will also be expected to travel to the Italian Head Office occasionally for training and machine testing and very occasionally deployed worldwide if required
  • Overtime paid door-to-door outside of normal working hours
  • Full product training will be provided

Requirements

  • Qualified Multi Skilled Engineer (Mechanical / Electrical)
  • Ability to read electrical diagrams and fault find from them
  • Ability to mechanically fault find and repair
  • Good fault diagnosis / problem solving skills
  • Basic PLC Fault Finding knowledge
  • Willing to travel within the UK & Ireland (Some overseas travel may be required)
  • Willing to work away from home for periods up to 5 days.
