We are currently recruiting for an experienced Field-Based Compressed Air Engineer based in Bedford to join one of our clients on a permanent basis. Summary of the Field-Based Compressed Air Engineer role Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 Location: Bedford Type of Contract: Permanent Hours: 42.5 Hours, Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm Benefits: 25 days holiday, company vehicle and tools provided, training and professional development opportunities and more! Disclaimer: you must live within an hours commute of Bedford and have a driving licence that includes towing with no more than 6 points. Responsibilities of the Field-Based Compressed Air Engineer Travel to customer sites within a 50 mile radius to repair equipment. Maintain and install compressed air systems. Fault diagnose and repair compressors. Run diagnostic tests to find and fix system issues. Log job reports. Complete planned and preventative maintenance.
