We are seeking a full time experienced Hotel MRICS Valuer to join our expanding Commercial Valuation Division in Central London. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified professional with specialist leisure and hotel expertise to work alongside our existing team and contribute to the growth of our hotel valuation practice.

As a Senior Surveyor/Associate/Senior Associate/Partner level Hotel Valuer based in London, you will be responsible for undertaking valuations of hotel and leisure assets across the UK on both a trade-related and investment basis. You will be reporting to funds, banking clients, and institutional investors, providing high-quality valuation advice and strategic support.

Working closely with our Partners in London and alongside Associate Callum Roxburgh, you will be instrumental in expanding our hotel valuation capabilities. As a team, we have doubled our turnover in the last 5 years and are now taking the next growth steps. KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Undertake valuations of hotel and leisure assets across all categories including budget, mid-market, upscale, luxury, and boutique hotels throughout the UK
  • Prepare comprehensive valuation reports for loan security purposes for banking and lending clients
  • Deliver fund valuations and financial reporting for institutional clients
  • Conduct trade-related valuations incorporating operational performance analysis
  • Maintain and develop client relationships with funds, banking/lending institutions, hotel operators, and investors
  • Work closely with Partners to identify and pursue business development opportunities within the hotel sector
  • Contribute to pitch presentations and new client acquisition initiatives
  • Ensure all valuations comply with RICS Red Book standards and regulatory requirements
  • Mentor and support junior team members as the team grows

MAIN CAPABILITIES

  • MRICS qualified and a member of the RICS Valuer Registration Scheme
  • Minimum of 5+ years experience in hotel and leisure valuations
  • Proven specialist expertise in hotel valuations across multiple categories (budget, mid-market, upscale, luxury, boutique)
  • Strong understanding of hotel trading performance and operational metrics
  • Experience in both trade-related and investment basis valuations
  • Good connections within the hotel industry with both banking/lending institutions and investors
  • Existing client relationships and demonstrable track record of fee generation
  • Ability to work collaboratively with our existing team and Partners to further expand our fees
