The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in Storyblok, strong fundamentals in headless CMS architecture, and hands-on experience migrating structured content from legacy systems such as SharePoint. You will work closely with technical teams, content owners, and institutional stakeholders to ensure the CMS is scalable, maintainable, and aligned with long-term governance standards.

    • Ensure content structures support multiple sites, faculties, departments, and audiences.
  • SharePoint to Storyblok Migration
    • Analyze existing SharePoint content types, page templates, and metadata structures.
    • Map and translate SharePoint content models into optimized Storyblok components.
    • Support or lead content migration efforts, ensuring data integrity, consistency, and minimal disruption.
  • Localization, Workflows, and Permissions
    • Implement multilingual and localization strategies within Storyblok.
    • Configure versioning, publishing workflows, and approval processes.
    • Define and manage roles, permissions, and access control for diverse contributor groups.
  • Content Governance and Institutional Standards
    • Advise on content governance frameworks for a large academic institution.
    • Establish best practices for content ownership, lifecycle management, and editorial consistency.
    • Partner with stakeholders to balance flexibility with governance and compliance requirements.
  • Collaboration and Advisory
    • Collaborate with developers, UX designers, and content teams to ensure seamless CMS integration.
    • Act as a subject matter expert on Storyblok and headless CMS best practices.
    • Provide guidance, documentation, and training support to internal teams as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience working with CMS platforms, with strong hands-on experience in Storyblok.
  • Proven expertise in headless CMS architecture and content modeling principles.
  • Direct experience migrating or restructuring content from SharePoint or similar enterprise CMS platforms.
  • Strong understanding of localization, workflows, versioning, and role-based permissions in CMS environments.
  • Experience working with large, structured organizations such as universities, academic institutions, or enterprises with complex content needs.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have

  • Experience defining editorial workflows for large distributed content teams.
  • Prior work in higher education or research-driven institutions.

Why Join

  • Work on a high-impact, long-term CMS transformation for a large academic institution.
  • Own the content architecture and governance strategy from the ground up.
