We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by performing various tasks related to the handling, storage, and distribution of goods. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties
- Load and unload goods from lorries and containers, ensuring safe handling practices are followed.
- Pick and pack orders accurately for shipping, adhering to quality standards.
- Stock shelves and maintain inventory levels using a warehouse management system.
- Assist with shipping and receiving processes, including verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Handle materials with care, ensuring proper storage to prevent damage.
- Perform regular inventory checks and report discrepancies as necessary.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely (certification preferred).
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Load up vans with glass to distribute to our branches around the country.
- Provide cover for delivery drivers on sickness & annual leave.
Skills
- Previous warehouse experience is advantageous, with a strong understanding of materials handling techniques.
- Driving License is required.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently as required by the role.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to manage stock effectively.
