The Position
We are looking for an experienced friendly and responsible Delivery Driver / Store Assistant to help with the delivery of our customers’ orders, providing exceptional customer service and prompt delivery. To represent the company in a professional manner, the ideal candidate will enjoy working as part of a team, offering support to the store team to ensure the smooth running of the store in accordance with company procedures.
From time to time you may need to work in-store where youwill be responsible for picking customers orders and products, to serve and help all customers, keeping shelves well stocked with products, whilst ensuring the store is kept clean and presentable at all times.

Responsibilities
- Delivery of customers’ orders
- Assist and arrange for items to be dispatched
- Keep up to date with all promotional activity
- To make deliveries to salons within your area
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
- Follow all company policies and procedures
- Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes
- Follow routes and time/delivery schedule
- Load, unload, prepare, check and operate delivery van
- Inform customers about new products and services
- Complete logs and delivery schedule report
- Pick customers order
- Ensure all products are clean and correctly priced
- Stock is put out on shelf to company procedures
- Use of till / Retailer
- Pack all orders in-line with the company procedures
- Assist with deliveries of stock coming into store
- To help maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and colleagues
- Welcome and greet customers
Requirements
- Full clean UK Driving Licence
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver/Store Assistant
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Thorough and punctual
- Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills
- Friendly, helpful, confident and engaging personality
- Basic administration skills
- Working Hours and Job Location
The working hours for this role are 22.75 hours a week Tuesday to Friday.
Tuesday to Thursday 8.15am-3.00pm and Friday 8.15am to 1.00pm
