What skills and experience we're looking for

30 hours per week - term time only plus 5 additional days during the academy summer holiday

Required as soon as possible, an enthusiastic Cleaning Supervisor to monitor and supervise cleaning staff to ensure a high standard of cleaning to all areas of the academy. To assist with the cleaning of the academy, setting high standards.

Having achieved another "record-breaking" set of results in summer 2025, and following on from our Ofsted visit in May 2024 where we were judged as a strong "Good" in all areas, Buckler's Mead Academy is going from strength to strength.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

To assist with the cleaning of the school, setting high standards to ensure a clean and hygienic environment.

To ensure adequate staffing levels are in place, with cover in all areas at appropriate times.

To ensure cleaning staff are appropriately trained to fulfil their duties.

To maintain adequate stocks of all cleaning and hygiene materials, including monitoring and controlling a full stock control system, ordering all necessary materials in line with the best value policy.

To maintain Health and Safety records, including COSHH.

To maintain timesheets, holiday and absence records for cleaning staff, liaising with the Business Manager.
