Step Teachers are working with a Primary School in Camden to find an experienced Year 1 Teacher to join their team starting in September 2026. This will start as a long-term supply position running until December, with the understanding that it will likely transition into permanent employment with the school after the first term.
This school was rated "Good" under Ofsted's previous rating system for schools, although a note has been made by Ofsted that it would likely receive an "Outstanding" rating if a new inspection were to be carried out now. Duties as a Year 1 Teacher:

Ideal Year 1 Teacher:
- Holds QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
- Has recent experience teaching in KS1
- Demonstrates strong classroom management and adaptability
- Is confident delivering the national curriculum and supporting varied learning needs
- Has a clear Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willing to obtain one
