A welcoming and supportive primary school is seeking an experienced Year 1/2 Teacher to join their team from 1st September for a 6-week maternity cover to cover a teacher undergoing a knee operation. This is a full-time position and will include full planning, preparation and assessment responsibilities.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Recent experience teaching within Key Stage 1
- Strong knowledge of the Year 1 and Year 2 curriculum
- Experience delivering and managing Continuous Provision within a KS1 setting
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- The ability to quickly build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents
