- Personal Assistant - 36 Hours per Week - Yarm
We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Personal Assistant to join an established support team assisting a friendly middle-aged gentleman in Yarm.
Our client enjoys an active social life, including shopping trips, social outings, and days out in the community.
He is a wheelchair user and requires support with daily living activities to maintain his independence and quality of life.
This position is for
36 hours per week , with additional opportunities for overtime.
Main Duties
- Assisting with personal care, including getting out of bed, showering, dressing, and bedtime routines
- Preparing and cooking meals
- Supporting with household tasks and general housekeeping
- Accompanying the client on shopping trips and social outings
- Providing support to enable participation in community activities
- Hours of Work
Flexibility is essential, as shifts are worked on a rota basis with no fixed days or times. Typical shifts may include:
- 12-hour day shift
- 13-hour night shift
Previous experience in a paid or unpaid caring role would be beneficial, although full training can be provided for the right candidate.
Essential Requirements
- Aged 25 or over for insurance purposes
