Here’s what you need to know about this job role:
Providing personal care that includes bathing/showering, dressing and undressing, and toileting residents
Daily and nightly checks
Promoting Person Centred Care, whilst respecting your residents with dignity
Promoting independence and support to residents
Escorting to dining hall, setting trays/tables, providing assistance with feeding
Promoting various activities with the residents and encouraging them to be a part of the home's community
Recording of resident's daily logbooks and food/fluid intake
Supporting the home with laundry, light cleaning, and other domestic tasks
