We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Lecturer in Chemistry to join our academic team on a fixed-term basis.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality teaching across Chemistry courses.
- Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with curriculum requirements.
- Monitor and support student progress and achievement.
- Provide academic guidance and pastoral support where appropriate.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessment, and student performance.
- Participate in departmental meetings and quality assurance activities.
- Contribute to curriculum development and the continuous improvement of teaching practices.
- A degree in Chemistry or a closely related discipline.
- A recognised teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one (where applicable).
- Experience teaching Chemistry in a school, college, or higher education setting.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A commitment to inclusive teaching and supporting learners from diverse backgrounds.
- A postgraduate qualification in Chemistry or Education.
- Experience teaching practical laboratory sessions.
- Knowledge of current curriculum and assessment requirements.
- Experience using digital learning platforms and educational technology.
