This is a unique opportunity to help shape and lead an exciting new service that is transforming the way health and employment support are delivered across Kent and Medway. WorkWell brings together health, wellbeing, employment and community services to help people with physical and mental health conditions move towards, remain in, or return to work.
As the WorkWell Operational Lead, you will play a pivotal role in turning this vision into reality. You will lead a passionate team of WorkWell Coaches, ensuring participants receive high-quality, person-centred support that delivers meaningful and lasting outcomes. You will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership, performance and quality oversight of the service. Working closely with key stakeholders, you will ensure the service provides person-centred support that helps people overcome barriers to employment and improve their wellbeing. You will lead, supervise and support a team of Coaches, overseeing caseloads, service performance, safeguarding, quality assurance and continuous improvement.
As the first point of escalation for complex cases, risks and operational issues, you will help ensure participants receive timely, appropriate support while maintaining high standards of practice and governance. The role requires strong partnership working across healthcare providers, employers, local authorities, Jobcentre Plus, voluntary and community sector organisations.
Using data, performance insights and participant feedback, you will drive service improvement, support workforce development through coaching and reflective practice, and contribute to reporting, evaluation and mobilisation activities. You may also hold a small caseload to support service resilience, quality assurance and continuity.
Additional Working Pattern: Evening and weekend work may be required.
