Underwoods Motoring are seeking an experienced Workshop Controller for our multi-franchise Authorised dealership in Clacton, joining their growing team of skilled garage professionals.
This is a great opportunity to join a successful independent dealer group holding Authorised Repairer status for four well established motoring brands; Vauxhall, Ford, Skoda and Kia.
As a Workshop Controller your duties will include
- - Delegating work to the technicians
- - Liaising between the technicians and service advisors
- - Supporting the Service Manager
- - Building estimates for vehicle repairs
- - Smooth running of Workshop
- - Updating customer on work progress
- - Good communication skills with customers and colleagues
The applicant will be a pro-active member of the dealership's management team and be responsible for overseeing and motivating our team of professional workshop technicians.
Experience working within a busy main dealer environment is essential. A good understanding of the warranty process is also beneficial.
The successful applicant must have an excellent attitude and be able to work as part of a team.
They must take pride in their work, in line with the levels of excellence expected at Underwoods Motoring.
The applicant should have excellent technical knowledge along with strong organisation and motivational skills as well as full experience in managing a car service workshop.
Working hours are 8:00-18.00 Monday to Friday. No weekend work. Full UK driving license required.
