We're looking for an experienced Working Foreman/Woman to join the team at Stoneleigh, supporting day‑to‑day maintenance operations across the HS2 route. This is an all‑round supervisory role, overseeing routine inspections, small repairs, drainage checks, vegetation management, fencing works, and general upkeep tasks. You will also provide cover across additional maintenance areas when other supervisors are on leave, ensuring continuity of operations.

Key Duties

  • Supervise daily HS2 maintenance activities across compounds and route sections
  • Carry out and oversee asset inspections, reporting defects and coordinating follow‑up works
  • Support drainage maintenance, including checks, clearing, and minor reinstatement
  • Oversee fencing, gates, barriers, signage, and access route maintenance
  • Coordinate vegetation control, strimming, clearing, and safe access management
  • Manage small repairs, reinstatement works, and general upkeep tasks
  • Allocate tasks, brief maintenance operatives, and coordinate daily work plans
  • Monitor work quality, productivity, and adherence to maintenance standards
  • Maintain communication with engineers, supervisors, and route maintenance teams

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong background in maintenance, small works, repairs, inspections, or similar operational roles
  • Experience supervising teams and coordinating multiple maintenance tasks
  • Valid Gold or Black CSCS SSSTS
