We're looking for an organised, customer-focused Recruitment & Retention Co-ordinator to support the Trust's community services investment programme. Working under the Workforce Recruitment & Retention Manager, you'll be the first point of contact for recruiting managers and candidates, keeping vacancies moving smoothly from approval through to a new starter's first day.

You'll maintain accurate vacancy trackers, flag delays and gaps early, and support pre-employment checks in line with NHS Employment Check Standards. You'll liaise with North London Partners Shared Services (NLPSS) on day-to-day vacancy processing and system updates, and coordinate onboarding with IT, Estates and Security so new starters have access, parking and badges ready before day one.

This is a varied, people-focused role suited to someone methodical and proactive, with strong attention to detail and a genuine interest in NHS recruitment processes. You'll manage your own workload against programme priorities, escape complex issues with clear context, and help drive continuous improvement across recruitment and onboarding.

You'll need confidence using recruitment systems (TRAC, NHS Jobs, ESR), a professional and friendly manner with managers and candidates, and a commitment to accuracy and compliance with GDPR and Trust policy.

  • Coordinate end-to-end recruitment activity, acting as the main contact for managers and candidates
  • Maintain vacancy trackers, monitor progress, and elevate delays
  • Support pre-employment checks and ensure compliance with NHS standards
  • Assist with recruitment planning, including approvals, tracking, and reporting
