The Nelson Trust is a leading charity supporting people with multiple and complex needs, helping individuals build positive, fulfilling lives through trauma-informed and person-centred services. We are looking for a compassionate and motivated Women's Recovery Keyworker to join our Women's Community Services team. Working in partnership with Turning Point, you will provide holistic support to women affected by substance misuse and other complex challenges, helping them overcome barriers and achieve sustainable positive change. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference in the lives of women across Bath, Bristol and the wider BaNES area.
Salary: £27,000 per annum
Hours: 35 hours per week (with flexibility to work outside normal hours when required)
Location: Bath, Bristol and the wider BaNES area (based at Bristol Women's Centre with community-based outreach work)
What will you do?
- Manage a caseload of women requiring support around drug and alcohol use
- Deliver tailored one-to-one practical and emotional support using a trauma-informed approach
- Complete comprehensive assessments and develop strengths-based support plans
- Facilitate group interventions and provide outreach support to increase engagement and accessibility
- Work collaboratively with Turning Point and a range of partner agencies to coordinate effective support
- Advocate for women at multi-agency meetings, including attending court proceedings where required
