The predicted salary is between 14.2 - 14.2 Β£ per hour.
To assist with a variety of tasks which will assist the employer who needs care and support to live their personal and social life according to their wishes and interests.
About the employer: Supporting a middle-aged gentleman living with his wife and 3 young children. He has had an ulcer for the past 7 years and due to poor circulation in his legs, it is slowly drying up. He is also unsteady with mobility and at possible high risk of falls.
- Being around/present when the employer is showering/bathing.
- Being around/present if support is required during dressing and undressing.
- Assistance, encouraging the employer with physical activities.
- Domestic duties:
- Assistance with serving food and drinks.
- Preparing and cooking food, making snacks.
- Assistance with shopping.
- Social Duties:
- Assist the employer to go to places of interest, for example, going to the gym, dropping and picking up kids from school, attending various activity centres with them, shopping with them, accompanying him to go out with or without family/friends to functions or any event.
- Assistance to attend any appointments, for example, GP, Hospital.
- Assistance when going out for a walk, support when going in and out of the car, accessing the vehicle.
- Shopping for pleasure.
- Assistance with correspondence β phone calls/letter writing.
- Assistance with any other identified leisure activities.
- Would like to attend the Temple on a weekly basis.
You may be expected to work at an alternative location β notice will be given when possible. These duties may vary from day-to-day.

Specific requirements:
- Hours of work: 6 hours per week, flexible as required, to be discussed at interview.
- Possible times to be employed: Monday β Sunday 6.00pm β 7.00pm; Saturday β Sunday 9.30am β 10.30am.
- Rate of pay: Β£14.20 per hour.
- Skills, qualifications, and experience: driving licence, car and appropriate insurance, confidentiality, good at building relationships.
- Preferred: a good listener, ability to support people with complex needs.
PLEASE NOTE THIS ROLE IS BASED IN EAST PARK.
Successful applicants will require DBS checks & Employment References. This role is funded by the Local Authority and is paid 4 weekly.
