Reporting to: The Employer

Job purpose: To assist with a variety of tasks which will assist the employer who needs care and support to live their personal and social life according to their wishes and interests. This role involves overnight support.

About the employer: Our client is a 49-year-old male living in the Wednesfield area who is looking to recruit a Personal Assistant to cover maternity leave to provide support with all aspects of daily living for 3 calls per day, 4 days per week.

Responsibilities:

  • Keep in touch and socialise with family and friends
  • Attend medical appointments
  • Personal care: Support with washing, shaving, teeth cleaning, dressing, administering medication.
  • Domestic duties: Support with cooking and serving nutritious meals and snacks, keeping the home environment clean and tidy. These duties may vary from day-to-day.

Hours of work: 13.20 hours per week – Monday to Thursday, 3 calls a day – AM, Lunch & Tea all 1 hour 10 minutes long.

Rate of pay: £14.00 per hour

  • Car and appropriate insurance
  • Previous experience of working with individuals with complex needs

Successful applicants will require DBS checks & Employment References. This role is funded by the Local Authority and is paid 4 weekly.
