Locum Consultant - Dermatology | The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust
We are looking to appoint one Locum Consultant Dermatologist for 10 Programmed Activities.
This is an exciting opportunity to join an ambitious dermatology team working in a recently built modern department aiming to give the highest quality of care to the population served by Walsall Health Care NHS Trust and The Royal Wolverhampton Hospitals NHS Trust.
The successful candidate must possess a Primary medical degree; Full GMC Registration with a License to Practice; CCT/CCST in Dermatology; Inclusion on the GMC specialist register for Dermatology; MRCP or equivalent.
Main Duties & Key Responsibilities
- To assist the current team and have responsibility for ensuring a commitment to provide a high quality of Dermatology Services to patients by continual development of practice in the light of evidence-base, and clinical standards.
- To partake in Skin Cancer MDT.
- To provide advice to colleagues in other specialities on Dermatology care.
- To provide a comprehensive Outpatient service and surgery service
- To provide clinical support and teaching to resident and speciality doctors, Medical Students and Postgraduate Medical Education.
- To support and encourage audit and research.
- To have responsibility for ensuring a commitment to maintaining a high quality of service to patients.
- To actively participate in CPD and personal development plans.
