Desian Education is delighted to be working in partnership with a welcoming mainstream primary school in Winsford to recruit an experienced and motivated KS2 Teaching Assistant for a full-time, long-term position starting in September.

The successful candidate will become a key member of the KS2 team, leading targeted interventions, supporting pupils with additional learning and behavioural needs, and working alongside class teachers to ensure every child is able to reach their full potential.
Your role will include
- Delivering high-quality 1:1 and small-group interventions across Key Stage 2.
- Planning and delivering targeted Maths and English interventions to accelerate pupil progress.
- Monitoring, recording and evaluating the impact of interventions, providing regular feedback to teachers and senior leaders.
- Supporting pupils with social, emotional and behavioural needs through positive behaviour strategies and personalised support plans.
- Working collaboratively with class teachers to adapt learning and promote pupil engagement.
- Building positive relationships with pupils, helping them develop confidence, resilience and independence.
- Contributing to an inclusive classroom environment where every child feels supported to succeed.
