The Best Connection are currently looking for an HGV Cat C+E tipper driver to work for our client based in Winchester. The job has NO heavy lifting. It is Monday to Friday with a guaranteed 10 hour daily pay and overtime available on weekends. Must have tipper experience and be happy to do night outs. Training is provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • The normal working week is Monday to Friday, with overtime available on weekends.
  • The work will involve staying away during the week.
  • You will receive training for your first week from a full-time driver.
  • Completing vehicle checks and accurate delivery paperwork.
  • The role is delivering and collecting grain from farms to mills.
  • Good communication skills are key as you need to call farmers an hour before arrival to ensure you go to the correct area on the farm.
  • Reporting any issues to the shift manager.

Requirements

  • Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence.
  • Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
  • Class 1 Tipper experience, and happy to do night outs.
  • Must have previous tramper experience.
  • Excellent communication skills and a neat appearance.
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills.
