This Health & Safety Officer will be joining a pre-existing and longstanding successful Health & Safety team who covers the length of the south coast.
You will be responsible for managing the compliance throughout the team.
This Health & Safety Officer role will involve regular liaison with the Health & Safety team, providing support to site teams from tender stage through until after care.
Informing and keeping up to date with legislation changes and industry best practice and informing of any developments, ensuring correct changes and support is provided.
Produce Wellbeing material & initiatives and seminars to ensure wellbeing is being promoted in the workplace.
As Health & Safety Officer you will lead the administration and systems for the Health & Safety team, ensuring company procedure and best practice is followed in an organised and efficient manner.
At present work is secured across the Hampshire, Dorset, Surrey & Sussex regions.
Projects traditionally range in size from the smaller £200k up to £30m in value.
This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Health & Safety Officer looking to work regionally, or potentially an ambitious Junior looking to create a career pathway for themselves in the construction industry.
Key attributes will include excellent communication skills both written and verbal, experience within the construction industry is preferable, knowledge of health and safety legal standards and practice.
