In your specific role this includes carrying out tasks in line with documented procedures and ensuring the products that we produce meet customer specifications. You will consistently refer to the relevant customer specification sheets to ensure that the portions/products that are being packed are in accordance with the agreed weight and size parameters and that there are no visible quality issues with the product e.g. excessive bruising, poor cutting standards, bone fragments, or excess fat. You are responsible for identifying and reporting any product defects or deviations to specifications and removing those products from the line. This should also include a root cause analysis to help identify what caused the quality issue. You will also coach others to ensure they fully understand and adhere to the relevant customer specification sheets.
