Theatre Practitioner (Anaesthetics and Recovery) post is for 37.5 hours per week Monday - Friday between 8 am - 7pm internal rotation within theatres.
There is an opportunity available at Wrightington Hospital (Centre of Excellence) for you to join a highly motivated, multi-disciplinary team delivering quality patient centered care and patient safety throughout the patient pathway.
We are seeking to appoint a Registered Operating Department Practitioner/Registered Nurse with experience working within the theatre environment and have the ambition and desire to further develop your skills.
NHS Employees are required to secure their manager’s agreement for a secondment arrangement prior to applying, as this will be a condition of any offer made.
This vacancy is advertised on a fixed term basis as it has been established to provide maternity cover and will end after a period of 12 months or when the substantive post holder returns.
Whilst this post is advertised on an acting / secondment basis there is the potential that this post may become permanent the future.
- Acting as a catalyst in questioning expert professional knowledge within the team influencing application of theory in practice.
- Identifying, maintaining, evaluating and improving the quality of care through application of evidence based practice within the clinical area.
- Developing sound clinical skills and competency within their defined field working without direct supervision to ensure the application of professional standards in all aspects of care delivery within the clinical environment.
