The predicted salary is between 44460 - 54340 Β£ per year.
Lead the financial reporting of the Divisional care group in line with required timescales, ensuring information is accurate, timely and robust.
An ability to adapt to changing reporting requirements will be a key part of the role and innovative efficient solutions sought.
Support the Finance Business Partner with the consolidation of the internal financial performance reports and external financial monitoring returns, in line with required timescales ensuring they have been reviewed for consistency and accuracy for the division.
Lead the annual budget setting process for the Division care group ensuring that budgets are developed to take account of operational plans that are aligned with workforce and activity plans.
Also provide support and advice on financial and non-financial aspects of the Business Plans.
Work collaboratively with the Management Accountants and provide exemplary financial performance reporting for the division.
To provide the Associate Director of Financial Management with the information necessary to enable corporate financial reporting.
This will include explanation of significant variance movements for inclusion in the Trust Finance Report.
Ensure that a continuous improvement and learning culture is promoted and embedded throughout the department, maintaining high quality, streamlined and efficient services.
Work with the Financial Services to support internal and external audits in their role in auditing the Trusts accounts and financial information, ensuring issues of contention are brought to a satisfactory conclusion.
Have a working knowledge of all financial and accounting procedures, legislation, NHS financial policy.
To lead on development and production of monthly financial performance reports that consider activity, income & expenditure, workforce, CIP progress and encompassing risks & forecasts.
To support Deputy Divisional Directors, Deputy Medical Directors and Directors of Nursing and AHPs in identifying and achieving cost improvement and income generation targets, undertaking reviews of all existing practices with the aim of improving efficiency and supporting CIP delivery.
To provide input as required to the Trust's statutory financial reports.
To ensure that the Trust's standing financial instructions and codes of procedures are always adhered to.
To assist generally in the financial management of the Trust.
Deputise for other senior colleagues as required.
Contribute to the effectiveness of accounting systems.
Make recommendations to reduce costs and enhance value.
Undertake other duties as agreed with the Associate Director of Financial Management.
