The Role
As a KS2 Supply Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons, maintain a positive learning environment, and ensure continuity of learning in the absence of the class teacher. You will have the opportunity to work in a variety of school settings while making a positive impact on pupils' education.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality teaching across Key Stage 2 in line with the National Curriculum.
- Follow lesson plans provided by the school and adapt lessons where necessary.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies.
- Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND and EAL.
- Assess pupils' learning throughout lessons and provide constructive feedback where appropriate.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, and school leaders.
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all pupils by adhering to safeguarding procedures.
- Leave clear handover notes for the returning class teacher.
