We are currently recruiting on behalf of a busy fast fit centre for the position of Assistant Centre Manager in Wigan.

This role provides an excellent opportunity for a skilled automotive professional to take a step forward in management within a busy and well-established automotive centre.

  • Competitive basic salary of £35,000 plus performance bonus
  • Realistic OTE of approximately £40,000
  • 45 hours per week, with core hours from 8:30am to 5:30pm (Monday to Friday) and 8:00am to 5:00pm (Saturday)

Duties of the Assistant Centre Manager

  • Support the Centre Manager in daily operational management
  • Assist in supervising fast fit service bays and workshop team
  • Ensure high standards of customer service and operational efficiency
  • Contribute to achieving financial targets and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Mentor and train staff to maintain high performance levels
  • Support MOT testing and oversee technical staff as required
  • Uphold health and safety standards and ensure workshop compliance

Requirements of the Assistant Centre Manager

  • Minimum Level 2 in light vehicle maintenance
  • Proven experience in fast fit or automotive management roles
  • Strong customer service skills and team leadership ability
  • Good understanding of automotive workshop operations
  • Proactive attitude with a focus on targets and results
  • Exceptional organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to motivate and lead a team effectively
