Our client, a highly reputable fleet maintenance company based in Wickford, Essex, is seeking a skilled Van Technician to join their dedicated team.
This is an excellent Van Technician opportunity for an experienced professional to work within a supportive environment, offering competitive compensation and career progression prospects.
- - Competitive basic salary up to £41,000 per annum
- - Quarterly bonus scheme of up to £3,000 after six months
- - Overtime opportunities to maximise earnings
- - Working Monday to Friday, 8.00am – 5.30pm
- - Optional Saturday rota, paid as overtime (from 8.00am to 12.30pm)

Duties of a Van Technician
- - Conduct servicing, maintenance, and repairs on light commercial vehicles including Vivaro, Sprinter, Crafters, and utility vehicles
- - Handle brake, clutch, timing belt, suspension, and turbo repairs
- - Perform warranty work and some gearbox repairs (outsourced outside warranty)
- - Manage a high-volume workload, servicing over 20 vehicles per day as a Van Technician
- - Follow company procedures to ensure vehicle safety, quality, and compliance
- - Maintain accurate diagnostic and repair records
- - Ensure timely completion of repair jobs within specified deadlines
